The Rainbow Rehoming Centre have specific terms and conditions that you are required to sign and agree to before you adopt a pet from the Centre. These are for the benefit of the animal and are detailed below.

A pre-homecheck will be carried out by a rainbow rehoming centre volunteer with a follow-up homecheck at a later date

The animal must be registered with the local authority within one week of adoption

The animal will receive all necessary follow-up vaccinations and boosters as required

The animal will not be used for breeding purpose sthe animal will not be sold on for gain or profit

The animal will not be passed into the ownership of another who may not fulfil the specified conditions

The animal will be provided with adequate shelter and space suited to its needs

The animal will not be chained or tethered

The animal will be exercised daily for a period suitable to its needs

The animal will not be left alone for extended periods

The animal will not be allowed to roam unleashed or unattended

The animal will be looked after in a responsible and caring way

You must have the animal neutered or spayed at six months

If for any reason the animal is not wanted, the animal must be returned to the Rainbow Rehoming Centre
