Dress to Impress - Charity Dress Auction - Friday 20th November In aid of Nexus, Foyle Women’s Aid, Child Contact Centre and Rainbow Re-homing Centre Print the poster here and put it up in your work. THE Dress 2 Impress Charity Dress Auction will take place on Friday, November 20, at the Everglades Hastings Hotel, getting underway at 8pm. The charities that will benefit from the event are: Nexus, Foyle Women’s Aid, Child Contact Centre and Rainbow Rehoming Centre, and the auction is open to all women from all backgrounds and all walks of life. Categories of dress for auction are: Bride, bridesmaid/flowergirl; ballgowns (new/used and vintage), cocktail dresses(new/used and vintage); little girls dresses; ethnic. Sizes start at women’s size 10 and run to size 28. This is a ticket only event, and tickets will go on sale in October priced £5, and will be available from Nexus on Clarendon Street (028 7126 0566); the Rainbow (Animal) Shelter Shop at Waterloo Place and the Shelter at Eglinton (028 7181 2882); the staff at the Child Contact Centre, John Street, and Foyle Women’s Aid on Pump Street (028 7126 0060). A limited number of tickets will also be available from the Everglades Hastings Hotel. Tickets are also available from Olga Bradshaw the Sentinel 7134 1175 (mobile 07733210329) A raffle will also be held on the night, and the organisers have appealed for donations for the raffle and of quality dresses to ensure the success of the event. All donations can be left at the ticket outlets listed above and at the Sentinel at Spencer House, on Spencer Road.
