Compassionate and responsible pet ownership

Could you FOSTER a dog for us for a couple of weeks?
Please phone or email us and leave your details. We will add you to our foster database. We use foster homes for stressed animals and also for times when we have more dogs than spaces.

DOG WALKERS Required -
We welcome dog walkers at the centre. You can come along between 10.30am - 1pm and 6.30 - 9pm.

We do not take in owned pets (unless very special circumstances) but we can advertise them on our Pets seeking homes section if you email us a photo and description. All pets must be vaccinated and neutered.

Name:	MISSY
Description:
"Missy" is a female Rottweiler aged approx 3 years old. She is an extremely affectionate and loving dog but she is very scared of strangers at first, often hiding in the back of her kennel. Once she knows and trusts you she will give you loads of hugs and kisses! She gets on very well with some other dogs but she does not like cats. She loves to go for walks, walking very well on a lead. She really is an adorable girl and just needs an experienced and loving owner with patience to help Missey grow in confidence. Name:	KIZZY
Description:
Kizzy is a female German Shepherd aged approx 8 years old. Kizzy is an adorable girl who just loves to play and gets so excited when she sees the lead! She loves to walk and walks well on a lead. She absolutely adores play time and lots of cuddles! She gets on well with some other dogs but prefers bigger dogs to smaller ones. She would make a very loving pet. WATCH MY VIDEO HERE


Name:	DARKIE
Description:
DARKIE is a male Black lab cross aged approx 1 year old. He is a very sweet boy who needs a loving and secure home where he can grow in confidence as he had a bad start in life. He gets on with some other dogs but would be best suited to be the only pet in the home. He does not like cats. With love and reassurance he will make an excellent family pet.


Name:	FRED
Description:
FRED is a black and white Springer Spaniel aged 6 years old. He is a beautiful boy with an excellent temperament. He gets on very well with other dogs and people. He would make an excellent family pet.


Name:	ROXY
Description:
"Roxy" is a female Japanese Akita aged between 3+4 years old. She like many female akitas was overbred in her last home and she is gradually putting on weight at the centre. She has a good temperament and enjoys walks. She would be best suited to a home where she will be the only pet unless homed with Rudy. Potential new owner must have experience with large breeds. Name:	RUDY
Description:
"Rudy" is a male Japanese Akita approx 3/ years old. He is a big teddy bear who enjoys to play with toys and loves to go for walks. He is a very large dog and is strong so he will need an owner who has experience of large dogs and preferably this breed. He came into the centre with Roxy (below) and we would ideally like them homed together but will separate if necessary. He gets on well with Roxy but he would not be suitable for a home with another pet. WATCH MY VIDEO HERE


Name:	SHEP
Description:
Shep is a male collie - he is a shy boy and will need a loving home for him to grow in confidence - currently in a foster home.


Name:	SAM
Description:
SAM is a very handsome big golden lab aged approx 2 years old. He has a great temperament and mixes well with other dogs. He isn't too keen on cats though! He is very playful and affectionate and loves his walks. He is well behaved and obedient but can at times be a typical bouncy lab so would be best suited to a home with older children.
