Have you wild or stray cats in your area? We can help and prevent unwanted kittens. We use special equipment to humanely trap them. This allows us to get them neutered and stop many unwanted litters of kittens. We have dedicatied and trained volunteers waiting to help you.

Days old kittens dumped in a Pillowcase

On Thursday evening 22nd April we got a call from a distressed family who had found a pillowcase of kittens dumped in their back garden.

In recent months the Rainbow Rehoming Centre has been carrying out many visits to areas throughout the northwest with regards to complaints of cruelty/neglect of animals.

Hand rearing kittens - we need fosterers

If you have experience hand-rearing kittens or would be interested in helping us - please get in touch asap. We sometines get in very young kittens who have been dumped or abandonded that need hand-reared with a bottle. If you can offer this life-saving help - we urge you to phone us or email us

Special Appeal - ♥ROCKY♥

Rocky is a young lab/staffy cross.  He is very affectionate and loves to play. He also loves to cuddle, wrestle and get his tummy tickled! He is better suited to one or 2 people at a time as large groups or busy households might get him too excited and he can forget his size and strength. Rocky has had some trauma in the past and is therefore not suited to a home with children or with other animals. Rocky will be a rewarding pet for an owner who is willing to spend time with him and who will ensure he receives proper training.

Patti is a very timid wee girl. She will need a home with an experienced cat owner. She has a lot of love to give but she needs to grow in confidence before she can learn to show affection.

feral cat Adoption

We have some long term feral cats at the centre who are looking for a home. Do you have outdoor space and a shed/barn to offer a home to one or two of these cats? If you could offer a warm bed and kindness to one of our long termers - get in touch. Ideally experienced cat owners.

New Volunteers

We are looking for new volunteers to help out at the centre. We have 2 shifts every day. If you would be interested in helping out for 3-4 hours, please get in touch. Volunteers must be over 18, own transport would be ideal.
